Bill gives good, if sanitized, review of being a caretaker. He covers all of the basics, the struggles in finding affordable equipment, repairs to equipment, the frustration of manufacturers changing products. He doesn't even touch frustrations I'm sure he's had with know-it-all doctors who refuse to listen. I like the comment about on-the-job medical training. Bill and his wife have done an amazing job with a strong Christian support system. I hope they are able to set up a good care system for Ray after they are gone.
This book is very well written account of challenges and solutions found by a caregiver while caring for a loved one. This is a no-nonsense,no-drama book with solid advice on how to tackle some of the challenges.
