This is one of the most beautiful coloring books in my collection. Tabby's drawings are always inspiring as they offer so many options, everything from large round spaces that give room for gradiants or jewel-toned three-dimensional effects to complex tiny areas that invite meticulous tile effects. As always, the drawings are expertly inked on a single side of good quality paper. And the cover of this book, as are those of her others, is colored by the artist to show her own personal vision of a way to color the drawings within. Celestial Circles contains drawings from simple to very complex. A few even have the suggestion of gray scale to suggest where there should be shading. Some designs are repeated on black backgrounds that really make the colors pop. The accompanying page colored by me was done with colored pencils and gel pens and with a background added digitally. I have purchased every one of Tabby's coloring books in PDF version and several also as hard copies. This, so far, is my favorite of her collection. This book is unusually beautiful, not to mention of very good quality, and would make a lovely gift for anyone who enjoys coloring books.
Very poor quality paper, standard copy paper NOT 60 pound, printing quality looks like a copy of a copy. You can see through the paper (see picture) Each page has author's copyright and facebook in large letters. The reviews seem all about the artist hmmmm? This is the only coloring book I have returned.
This is very simple and unappealing. Many of the images are not "celestial" related for me. And some seem repetitive (like the same patterns over and over). There isn't one image I feel inspired to color! The book comes with white and black backgrounds; that is, all images with white background are also repeated in black background. That would be great if the images were at least more aesthetically pleasant. The paper is bad, but that is nothing new and no problem at all. My issue is with the quality of the images but for that price I shouldn't had expected much.

The designs are extraordinary... but pages are not perforated, author recommends making copies of pages you want to color. You would not be able to color in the book as paper is very "cheap". Author also needs to familiarize herself with the proper order of zodiac symbols when making a wheel design.
