The most powerful and informative book I have read on the prophetic role of Islam. Walid Shoebat and Joel Richardson's God's War on Terror is a comprehensive analysis of Bible prophecy viewed through a Middle Eastern lens. The resulting picture will displease those who are wedded to the conventional but false Eurocentric view of prophecy with it's European Anti-Christ and Global New Age/Roman Catholic false religion (Think "Left Behind"). Unfortunately, too many book-selling, prophecy "experts" have built lucrative careers on the old paradigm and are unlikely to give this book the attention it deserves. That is unfortunate and will only contribute to the Western World's (and the Church's) blindness. Not only is this a brilliant analysis of Bible prophecy, it is one of the most informative books I have ever read on Islam. And as a former intelligence officer who spent years studying the Middle East, that is no light compliment. So the politically correct of the religious, media and political world will also despise this book. Brainless liberals, religious and secular, ecumenicalists and Muslim apologists have been quick to give it one star and slander the authors. Yet it is one of the most powerful wake-up calls the church is likely to receive on the dangers and future terrors of Islam. Is Islam the religious and spiritual power behind Anti-Christ? You better believe it. Will the restored Caliphate fulfill the Beast Kingdom prophecies of Daniel and Revelation? It would be hard to argue against that once you've read this book. The only idea put forth in this book that I felt even a tinge of apprehension about was the identity of Mystery Babylon. I do believe you need to look west of the Middle East for that. But Shoebat and Richardson do make a good case for Mecca. I am also somewhat unconvinced about their "Battle of Gog and Magog" analysis. I respect their conclusions but my personal research into ancient place names and ethnicity suggest that Tubal, Meshech and Rus can be linked to Russia despite their ancient locations in Asia Minor. But in the main I find much to recommend in the authors' conclusions. This is not a light read at over 400 pages. But it's divided into topical sections so you can take a break without losing focus. Joel Richardson has written many books in a similar vein but it is really Walid Shoebat's book and personal story, with Richardson contributing research. Shoebat is a Palestinian Catholic raised as a Muslim. His unique, insightful perspective gives the book a tremendous punch. On the critical side, this self-published book is poorly edited. And some of Shoebat's "terrorist testimony" has been likely embellished. But he was a West Bank Palestinian born in Bethlehem. To suggest, as some critics do, that Shoebat was not indoctrinated into Jihad is a simpleton's fantasy. All Palestinian youth are indoctrinated into hatred of Israel, Jews and the West. I have experienced this first hand in my trips to the region. So ignore the critics and read this. It is highly recommended. If it hurts your feelings, you can always rent "Left Behind" on Netflix and go back into the "science fiction prophecy" preferred by conventionalists. But that would be foolish indeed.
This is a very well documented book coming from an X-Muslim. He is very forthcoming and doesn’t hold back any punches. The truth is the light! The body of Christ needs to wake up and hear what this man is telling us about our Holy Bible and how it relates to what's happening in the world TODAY. My people parish for a lack of knowledge.Update: I am so thankful for having read this book. Thank you Walid! You, your ministry, and family are in my prayers. This book is very well researched regarding history, The Holy Bible, the Koran & its presentation.I also, believe that the Antichrist comes from the Middle East in the region of Turkey from what's provided in the Bible. This book brings so much clarity to that Prophecy & the geopolitical events of the day. I looked at the copyright date which I believe was 2008 and WOW look at what's happened since that time in the world. The only thing I didn't find in the book is about the role that the Pope will play during the end time. I believe that he has a role as well. Also, this book does not discuss the impact of technology being used during the end times. BUT, don't get me wrong. This book is a must read! It just might change your life. We all have a part to contribute and Walid Shoebat has certainly done his. Praise the Lord!

Shoebat obviously did his homework, uses the Bible and Qur'an to support what he says, and writes with clarity. It's a book you shouldn't miss. When you've read it, you'll want to buy more to hand out or send to friends and family.
Since 09/11/01, I've felt that Muslims would play a role in Bible Prophecy regardless of what was being taught by Western Clergy.Walid Shoebat's book is a revelation of End-Time prophecies from several Old Testatment Books that makes sense to me. He clearly reveals which countries the Antichrists will come from and where the final battle will be faught. He also presents several arguments on the various End-Time theories that he refutes using the Bible. His position is totally different from mainstream Christianity.If you study the Bible, you will not regret buying this book and there's a pretty good chance that you will see the future in a different light as I have. I highly recommend ALL Pastors buy this book for your enlightment. This book is NOT for narrow-minded people, but is for those Christians who are always seeking the truth.
