This is the manual my father used before me and the one which his father in the ministry used and recommended to him. I have found it to be of indescribable help to me, as did my father and countless others!
I bought this as I had misplaced my old copy that I've used since God called called me to preach on 7/3/1983. The book covers all types of services including funerals for lost souls. My last wedding service, I relied on an online version that wasn't quite what I liked. Yes, I don't necessarily go word for word with the book when the LORD directs me otherwise, but I consider it essential to be part of my library.
While not a thoroughly in-depth book, this little manual may be able to help any pastor, deacon, bishop, or common Christian with a sermon on many particular topics when the speaker does not know how or where to start. It is a good, inexpensive manual to have on your shelf that may give you some excellent ideas in expounding upon God's Word.
I have had mine for years and find it to be the best as far as information for a minister. My spiritual son in the Gospel has been busy lately doing funerals, weddings, etc.. and continues to have to ask to use my book. My wife suggested I order him one and I did. He was very surprised and liked that I gave it to him as a much needed gift and even autographed it for him. Great gift for any clergy, especially for ordinations and young minister's just getting started. Easy to follow and to carry with you.
