Brother Skousen makes it easy to read and understand the first 2000 years of the world's history. I have read this book several times and learn from its pages each time!
I love all of the books in this series. They are thought provoking and inspiring. He is gifted at making the scriptures come alive and explaining difficult concepts.
This makes it so much easier to understand so many Bible stories. It really analyzes all the related scriptures and fills in the gaps in ways that make the stories which often seem outlandish to make a whole bunch more sense.
