Even before reading this. God has saved my marriage that was surely dead. He made alive and saved both of us. All glory and credit goes to God. If God can saved an adulterous, whore, junkie, husband beater (myself) and a heroin addict, wife beater, junkie with no job (my husband), than God can save your marriage! Trust in Him. Don't be afraid. Always be honest and give it all to God. It took 7 years for us to surrender to Christ finally. It doesnt happen over night. We havent had a home for 7 years. We lived on and off with each other. Hes been in jail. I was in greed and we both living in sin but by God grace, he saved us. Its amazing. Truely a miracle! It was all God! Have hope everyone whos marriages are bad. Pray and pray and pray and read the word till it soaks into your mind and thats all you think about! Don't lose hope, keep praying!
This is a fine book of prayers. I often find it hard to pray for my husband, it may be that he is not communicating his needs or desires to me or that my personal issues occupy my mind not leaving room for my husbands. Whatever it is, I'm so thankful for this book. I have developed a habit of praying for my husband because I could use the prayers already printed. Now, every man and every marriage is unique, but the majority of these prayers were relevant for us. I love the space available to compose your own prayers. This book does assume that your husband has some sort of knowledge and faith in Christ. Although, it will be very valuable to an unbelieving spouse as well. The prayers printed are wonderful with meaning. I also use them like an idea to remind me of specific areas I can pray for my husband. This small book has been a valuable guide for me and my husband. My prayers have more substance and now cover many areas where my man struggles or is being attacked. I would recommend this pray book as a guide or prayer itself to any wife. Thank you for writing this book.
I am thoroughly impressed with Thirty-One Prayers for My Husband. As a newlywed, I want to cover my husband in prayer, but I wasn’t sure how to word my petitions to the Lord. Jennifer Smith has done an excellent job of crafting prayers that are both thought provoking and loving. I find myself meditating over every word, and truly weighing the meaning of each prayer. I’m amazed that a woman I’ve never met has been able to tap into the exact desires of my heart as a wife. Every prayer is wonderfully written, and I appreciate the space provided to add a personalized prayer and/or notes.
This book really helped me and helped my marriage. It helped me think more about my husband, and less about myself, and it gave me the words I needed to talk to God on my husband's behalf. It also feels great to know that other women may be praying the same prayers at the same time. I saw results as well... My husband now happily attends church, and he is working hard on improving his overall health! Whether or not my prayers caused these, Im so thankful I came across this book!

Like the paired book for husbands to pray for wives I love this idea of a general daily guide. I felt this one was a bit narrow minded in her prayers. I don't mean to be disrespectful but thinking maybe she is a mother of kids at home and her focus is there. After completing each chapter to the end of this book I would like to find a prayer guide for couples that is more general and would cover a wider range of situations and marriage types. The couples prayer books by Stormie Omartian: power of a praying wife/ power of a praying husband I feel is a more generalized yet powerful prayer guide that people (me) can more relate to and was used over several times in my life.
This is a good book for those whom are babies in the Lord. But for those who eat the meat of the word of God will find this spiritually watered down. I enjoyed it because it have me fresh ideas on what to pray about. I recommend this book for everyone
I'm about halfway through this book and I find it to be very helpful to pray for each area of my husband's life and our life together. I love the prayers because they give you a jumping point and you can direct your heart as you feel led during the prayer. There's also a section this lined pages after each prayer where you can write down your own prayers or things you're thankful for.
